About us

Surrounded by the beauty of the local fynbos, it is no wonder why I decided to develop first a range of chocolate slabs incorporating rooibos, snowbush or pelargonium.

My ambition is to bring to my customers beautifully crafted products made out of the best African-origin cocoa (Ivory Coast, Ghana, Rwanda and Madagascar) combined with organically, locally grown nuts, fruits or herbs. 

My wife, Camille, and I moved from France in November 2024 and resettled with our children - Louise, Paul, Madeleine and Flore - on a farm in Wellington, Western Cape. In a few years we plan to harvest the fruits, the herbs and the olive oil which are needed for the production of our chocolate delicacies. Hence our name CHOCOLATIER FARMER. 

Since November 2025, our boutique in the Old Tannery on Hermon Road operates on Wednesdays to Saturdays (9am-3pm).
